The first half of 2009
Well, the first half of 2009 has been filled with trips & lots of fun! In January we went to TX to be there as my grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniv. It was great to see my whole family! We took or first family piture since 2004! In March Benjamin turned 5 years old on the day we went back to TX for my little sisters wedding! She married Hairrson Lowe. He has 2 children that are cute, & you can see he is a great dad. Also in March I was asked to be the director of the roadshow for our ward. I have no idea what the bishop was thinking. Well, in April Jess called me & told me that they are going to have a little one of their own. I was called to be in the Young Woman's program for our ward. In May Benjamin graduated from perschool & Austin turned 2 years old. June was quite except trying to get th YW ready for girls camp. I was not able to go to cmap, because Charles had to work & I could not take the boys. This brings us to this month. The end of July is filled with stuff! We will be headed to Mississippi next weekend & the next weekend we will be going to visit Jess & the the next week we will be in TX. I will try & remember to write more after everything happens.

All about 2008 & our Family
Well, a friend of mine started a family blog for her family & thought that it would be a good idea for us to do, too. We are so far away from our family to be able to see and talk to everyone. This will be a good way to let everyone know what is going on in our lives.
This past year his been lots of fun. We had a lot going on. We started remolding our downstairs bathroom in March & Charles did everything from replacing all the plumbing to new walls, floor, & a shower unit. He did it all. With him doing everything it did not get done until early November, but it was worth the wait. We also did a lot of travling. In March the boys & I went to see Jessica in NC for Easter. We also went to see her in July. We also got to see Mom & Dad, too. It was a great time. The boys loved the beach. Austin ate sand for the first time, he did not like it too much. We also went to Myrtle Beach in September. That was a blast! Ben had fun running up and down the beach & in and out of the water. The place we were staying at had a place for kids to play in the water. It had a large submarine that they loved to play in. We were there right before a hurican hit. We left the morning before in hit. We were driving on highway 20 on the way home and I looked at Charles and said we could just take this all the way to Texas. It was a joke at first, but that is what we did. We drove from the east coast to Plano, TX! That was a very long 21 hour drive. We did it all at once. The boys were AWESOME!!! They are just like there Mom, loves to travle! We were there for Charles' 29th birthday & so I gave him a suprise party. It was a real suprise. Jessica & Harrison came to see us for a short visit at Thanksgiving. It was great to see them! Charles' family came for Christmas. The boys loved having them around. Benjamin loves playing with his Uncle Derek.
Since August I had been trying to get Benjamin into preschool through the state. It took me 6 weeks of calling almost everyday, but I got him in! He loves school. He loves to be around other people. It is nice to have just Austin at home. We get do spend time together & run around getting things done.
Austin is growning so very fast! He is 19 months old and weighs 28 pounds & is 33 inches tall. He is in 3T shirts. I have had to buy new clothes for him, because he is so much taller than Ben was that Ben's old choths were out of season for Austin. He is still not talking, but he gets his message across to us.
We are looking forward to another busy year! I will try to keep everyone updated on what is going on with us over here in Tennessee!
